Anyone can show up to a party with chips and salsa, but chocolate covered insects...that's another story. Yes, these are real insects (crickets and beetle larva) covered in rich creamy chocolate. We think they taste a bit like a Kit Kat bar (no offense to Kit Kat...they're yummy.) Surely worth a try. Makes a great offering at your next Halloween party, or a memorable option for a classroom snack. Sold in individual packs of 2 insects, or party/classroom sets of 15 packs (30 insects.) May be white chocolate, milk chocolate, or both.
WARM LOCATION SHIPPING: Our chocolate covered insects are made with yummy chocolate which, like all chocolate, can melt. We have found that if you choose Priority Mail and make sure that your order will not sit out in the sun when it is delivered - it should be fine. Please ship to a location that can accept your order when it arrives to avoid the unfortunate experience of melted bugs.

I bought a few packs for my preschoolers class for "bug week". Huge hit! We gave the extra packs to some neighbors and my son had so much fun watching the older kids eat them!

I came to my son's classroom as the "Mystery Reader" for the day. I brought a book called "Beetle McGrady Eats Bugs" and read it to the kids. After I asked them to raise their hands if they would ever eat a bug... And Then I produced a silver platter with all the chocolate covered insects. All but one child ate them! It was the talk of the school! The kids are still talking about it!
The insects look creepy, you can see it's a cricket or larvae but taste like crunchy chocolate. It was so much fun and the kids still brag they've eaten bugs!
