Imagine writing a note or a class handout with the instructions, "Place In Water After Reading." To their surprise the paper will dissolve in the water! This is real paper that can be written on and used in most copiers and printers. The secret lies in the fact that the paper is made of Sodium Carboxyl Methyl Cellulose (no, really, we didn't make that up.) It dissolves in cold water, hot water, steam, and most aqueous solutions. It's the perfect writing surface for secret agents, and a great way to teach about biodegradable products for waste reduction since this paper is non-toxic and environmentally safe. We recently ran a sheet of this through a color laser printer - when we put it in water and gave it a stir, the paper dissolved but the printing did not - we had a glass full of floating letters! You will get standard 8.5 X 11 inch (21.5 X 28 cm) sheets of paper. Available in packs of 15, 30 or 100 sheets. Send us a note and let us know how YOU used the dissolving paper.

We use the dissolving paper in our Interactive Prayer Room for people to write their sin confessions on and then put in the water to dissolve and this gives them a visual of God washing our sins away. People give us great compliments for using this product.

It was just what I needed for a church related event, and it worked great!

Since we cannot use flame or candles in the facility we rent, the water dissolving paper was a great alternative for our end of year ceremony of releasing the old year, and welcoming the new. Our church community enjoyed using the element of water and watching the paper dissolve. It works best if warm water is used, and you give it a little stir when you put the paper in--we used 3x3 squares, perfect size, in 4 gallon bowl. Yes, it was murky after the 40th person deposited their slip, but that only added to the symbology of letting go of the grit of the past and opening to a fresh, new start. Thanks, Science Bob!

We made ghosts and used them for a Halloween carnival game. Kids paid a ticket to vanish a ghost. The only problem was that it was hard to feed it through the printer. The paper is thinner than normal so it kept jamming and discoloring. So printed 8 ghosts on regular paper, and used to cut characters on 3 sheets of this at a time. Then drew eyes on the ghosts. It was a hit.

I was somewhat disappointed in the necessary temp of the water to work it but mixing it as you first place it in the water did help .It's fun to work with it.

This product was suppose to dissolve in water. It actually makes it a weird looking thing in the water and if you want it to dissolve, you have to stir it. I was a little disappointed as I used it at a womans retreat to get rid of burdens. However, it did work with my help and it did arrive in plenty of time.

I use ink pens to write on it with no problem. It's nearly as thin as tracing paper so you have to fold it several times if you don't want to read the writing from the back. It dissolves quickly. The packaging is not what I thought - simple ziplock style bag with a label for 15 sheets - but I didn't care. My online purchase was easy and safe and it arrived before I expected. Very satisfied all the way around.

Worked just as I expected. Place the paper in water, give it a little swish, and it vanishes!
