Here's a great way to creatively reuse a plastic bottle to help our feathered friends. We have had this bird feeder outside of our lab (see photos) and the birds have become constant visitors. We especially like that a 2-liter bottle holds so much bird seed, that we fill it much less than our other feeders. You can use any size plastic bottle with a standard cap size. Just attach the included hanger, fill with birdseed, and hang outside. Refills are easy using a special opening at the bottom of the feeder. Even the feeder is made from recycled materials. It's a better bird feeder for a lot less money.
Test to see if birds have a preference of bird seed color using our bird feeders (see photo below). You can get instructions by clicking HERE.
Teresa B. writes, "Our colored bird seed experiment. After 1 week the birds have really taken to the Blue Seed. This is very interesting!! Thank you for the idea."

This is exactly what I was looking for. I enjoy watching the wildlife at my folks house. It was time to move some of that entertainment to our house.
