Here at The Science Bob Store, we are big fans of Snap Circuits. They are kid-friendly, easy to use, and they teach real concepts about electricity and electronics. The Snap Circuits Jr. kit includes instructions for more than 100 projects than range from a flying saucer to sound activated switches and alarms that play music. There are over 30 parts including photoresistors, a motor, and multiple switches. Requires 2 AA batteries (not included) For ages 8 and up.
